Tee-Ball
The Tee-Ball Little League programme is all about fun! Teaching children a variety of basic physical literacy and baseball fundamentals including throwing, catching and base running. Our creative coaching approach makes learning the game of baseball fun, exciting and memorable.
What you need to know!
Season Start Date: Practices typically start the second week of January and games will start the first week of February 2023.
Ages: 4-6 (players turning 4, 5 or 6 between Sept 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023)
Registration: Registration opens October 1, 2022
Registration Fee: CI $100
Games: All Tee-Ball games are played Saturday mornings at 8:30am (8:15am arrival at the field to find your field and for warm up) All Tee-Ball games are scheduled for 1 hour in length plus the team relay race at the end of the game finishing before 10:00am.
Practices: Tee-Ball practices are scheduled for Thursday evenings at 5:15pm for a 1 hour duration.
Location: All Little League Baseball games and practices are conducted at the Field of Dreams located at 413 Fairbanks Road, George Town.
What does my child need in order to participate: All players should wear appropriate footwear (no sandals, open toed shoes or metal cleats are permitted). Players are encouraged to have their own baseball glove. Players will be provided with a team uniform including a team shirt, pants and a hat. Each team will be provided with baseballs, bats, helmets and anything else required for play.
The Little League “Pony” division makes use of a coach operated pitching machine allowing players to develop their batting skills with the assistance of consistent strikes across the plate. Our goal is to continue to develop the players fundamental skills with a focus on hitting, fielding and pitching.
Season start date: Practices typically start the second week of January and games will start the first week of February 2023.
Ages: 7-8 (players turning 7 or 8 between Sept 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023)
Registration: Registration opens October 1, 2022
Registration Fee: CI $100
Games: All Pony games are played Saturday mornings at 8:30am or 10:15am (please arrive at the fields 30 min prior to game time for warm up and line up cards) All Pony games are timed in length with no new inning starting after 1 hour and 15 minutes. Plus the team relay race at the end of the game.
Practices: Pony practices are scheduled for Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm for a 1 hour duration.
Location: All Little League Baseball games and practices are conducted at the Field of Dreams located at 413 Fairbanks Road, George Town.

Pony
Single A
The Single A division is a player’s first look and feel into full-fledged baseball. First year Single A players will face a live pitcher for the first time. Players and coaches begin to explore game strategy, the meaning of competition and how to interact with other team members and opponents. Players will begin to find a favourite position and start to develop specific skills in that area.

Games: All Single A games are played either Saturday at 10:15am or at 4:00pm. (one game per week) Arrival at the field 30 min prior for warm up and line up cards. All Single A games are scheduled for no new inning after 1 hour and 30 minutes plus the team relay race at the end of the game.
Practices: Single A practices are scheduled for Tuesday evenings at 5:30pm for a 1 hour duration. .
Location: All Little League Baseball games and practices are conducted at the Field of Dreams located at 413 Fairbanks Road, George Town.

Each team will be provided with baseballs, bats, helmets, back catcher equipment and anything else required for play.
The Double A Division is what Little League dreams are made of…this is the age where the best in Little League gather to participate in the Little League World Series! The Cayman Islands Little League will look to provide some travel opportunities to further develop players skills and experience. Double A players will have a good understanding of the game of baseball and will enhance their skills in their favourite positions.

Ages: 11-12 (players turning 11 or 12 between Sept 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023)

Games: All Double A games are played either Saturday at 4:00pm or Thursday at 5:45pm (one game per week) Arrival at the field 30 min prior for warm up and line up cards. All Single A games are scheduled for no new inning after 1 hour and 30 minutes.
Practices: Double A practices are scheduled for Monday evenings at 5:30pm for a 1 hour duration. For the first half of the season, all Double A practices will be held as “Division Practices” where all Double A players will work with all Double A coaches and league officials combined to enhance skill development.

Double A
Triple A & Senior
The Triple A division is the Little Leagues most senior division. At this age the players have a true understanding of the game and are primarily set to playing a couple of their favorite positions. Triple A players play on a full sized baseball field with 90 foot bases and pitching from 60 feet.

Ages: 13-15 & 16-18 (players birth date between Sept 1, 2022 and August 31, 2023)
Registration: Registration opens October 1, 2022

Games: All Triple A games are played either Saturday evenings at 4:00pm or 6:30pm or Thursday at 6:45pm (one - two games per week depending on the week) Arrival at the field 30 min prior for warm up and line up cards. All Triple A games are scheduled for no new innings after 1 hour and 30 minutes of play.
Practices: Triple A practices are scheduled for Tuesday evenings at 6:30pm for a 1 hour and 15 minute duration.

The Girls Softball division caters to players with little to no experience all the way through to high level athletes. The Girls Softball division is fast pitch and promotes a healthy lifestyle. It is a great way for Girls to develop team building and leadership skills, along with boost self-esteem and confidence…oh ya, and they have LOTS of fun!

Games: All Girls Softball games are played either Saturday or Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm (one - two games per week depending on the week) Arrival at the field 30 min prior for warm up and line up cards. All Girls Softball games are scheduled for no new innings after 1 hour and 30 minutes of play.
Practices: Girls practices are scheduled for Monday, Tuesday or Thursday evenings at 6:30pm for a 1 hour and 15 minute duration. (one practice per week)
